I would totally recommend this gun or the CZ bobwhite. The CZ bobwhite is basically the same gun but with double triggers and a straight english style grip on ... 1. Double Firing Issue. There is a problem with Sharp-tails; they double-fire almost every shot they shoot. This issue is fairly common with CZ. It is a mechanical malfunction that is fairly common with single-trigger CZ SXS. The main problem with doubling is that it is hard to make the trigger springs work right. Riflemeister. I really prefer my 16 ga SXS's to be around 6 1/2 to 6 3/4 pounds for bird hunting, so my 16 ga Ringneck doesn't get a lot of work nowadays.Another option would be a lightly used CZ Ringneck that the Sharptail replaced in the CZ lineup. The Ringneck is a conventional Anson and Deeley boxlock with a POW stock that I really like. The newer CZ SXS's use coil springs versus the older style V springs in the Ringneck.
