I recently did entry mode and from everything iv heard/read, its actually harder with 2 people.. mostly due to the gargoyle boss dude and spreading them puddles. Would recommend just binging beginners guides for the last boss and try ur best to get that solo W. But yes, you can get drops from entry mode. If you roll a purple at "too low" of an invocation, you get a 1/50 chance of keeping it and a 49/50 chance of a regular loot table roll. Entry tob exist to assist new players with learning some of the tob mechanics in a more relaxed and less punishing manner. Of course its going to be less money than vorkath, it was never intended to be used as a money maker. Not every piece of content in the game is centered around how much gp it should make.
Entry mode and regular TOB are entirely different beasts. That's good that you learned entry first, the skills will definitely help you, but regular TOB will likely still be very difficult.
