The FSM doesn't provide any documentation on fuel line routing, connections, etc, and I cannot find a fuel line schematic anywhere. I've got the metal return line capped for now, but it really should be properly connected.

When I try to start my jeep the starter is cranking the motor but no fuel, if I leave the key in the on position I will hear the fuel pump kick on 30 seconds and sometimes up to 15 min. later and then I can start it. The top one goes to the return line. The return line connects to the extra nipple in the sending unit on the top of the gas tank. The lower outflow line on the filler goes to the carb. It is not uncommon to hear of guys removing the return line during a mod but in the end the line always needs to be restored in order for the engine to run properly.
