The guy that purchased it at my sale owned the tractor for about 40 years. He died and his wife sold me the tractor. IH made about 10000 Stage 2 Super H's, in 1954 and late 1953. Live hydraulics and battery under the seat, along with other minor differences make them more valuable to collectors than H's and Stage 1 Super H's. $2000, maybe slightly more, for the one you describe (IF it is as the seller describes) is not out of line. A "B" JD and an "H" farmall are comparable models. "C" Farmall is sligtly smaller weight / size, however were very capable tractors. An "A" JD Gasoline or a "G" John Deere all fuel are comparable in plows (3 bottoms) to an "M" Farmall.
