I have tested Bergara as well, and i have also CZ 457 Long Range Precision. But i must say that i like Bergara more than CZ. Stock is better. Trigger is better. It is more accurate than CZ. The CZ comes in a nice walnut stock, and also has a large aftermarket support for it. I got the Varmint series with a 20" heavy barrel. I wish it came threaded for a barrel tuner / suppressor, but it doesn't.

The 457 is a very accurate rifle and might just be the very best 22.rimfire rifle currently on the market for that price . I have not shot the Tikka .22 or the Bergara .22 (own a B 14 Woodsman 6.5CM& love it). Do own a 457 American in 17HMR and love it. This is the Acorn style from Anarchy Outdoors. This is a great knob but its too long for some applications. The shorter version is ideal, I have the short version on my PB-14R. You have to use the above adapter to use this knob. Area 419 knob. The design didn't work for me.
