They dont know. The isobel/marcus thing doesnt help you to get to moonrise turret and isnt required aswell. You need to do the drider caravan ambush together with the harper or travel together with the drider caravan to be able to get to moonrise turret without getting damage. Doing the fight with Marcus will not make Moonrise hostile.

The two combats were not synchronized and harpers were getting massacred as I infiltrated. You probably triggered the assault, weren't aware, fast traveled and voila, dead Jaheira. Yes, you can after triggering the assault on the Moonrise Towers. Also, resisting the Dark Urge is a valid option. you can try to kill her after she and everyone moves to the castle. Then somehow lure her into a place where none will notice her dying.You either get into Tower first by going with the Drider or you get into Last Light Inn where everybody will tell you to go to the Tower.
