Fantastic professor. Took his lab and HCC did not give him the resources he needed but he made the semester amazing. Pre quizzes before labs can get you but as long as you read the manual you'll pass just fine. He actually cares about you learning the material rather than the grade. Responds quickly and is very accommodating. Recommend. I absolutely loved taking 1302 from Ms. Proctor. She's one of the best professors at HCC! I got a C on my first paper, and she worked with me, told me how to improve. It meant a lot that I got an A on the research paper. She talked with me in her office hours. It's great too that the textbook is online and didn't cost anything. Love Professor Cloar. His class is only discussion posts (each post has to be 250 words minimum, replies 100 minimum, exams (4), and Modules quizzes (13). You have one of each assignment each week for easy scheduling. No crazy due dates or surprises. Get ready to read Clear grading criteria Gives good feedback.We teach ourselves by reading the $300 required book. He says he likes questions from students, but that is a lie. He will mock & humiliate students when they have questions, and he often contradicts himself.
