Yes - P0783 3-4 shift. Functional Operation; 4th gear operation is provided electrically through the OD solenoid. The PCM monitors the engine RPM's when it commands the 3-4 shift. If the engine RPM's do not drop within 4 seconds of the 3-4 shift being commanded by the PCM, code P0783 will set after three concecutive failed shifts.I am not hard on the truck and changed the fluid and filters at 100k. It doesnt make any attempt to move in drive, but also doesnt make any noises. Also, putting the transmission in a particular gear using the selection doesnt make a difference. P0882 and truck stuck in 4th means you are not getting 12V power from the Trans Relay (in the Totally Integrated Power Module [TIPM]) to the trans. while you have it down go ahead and check the tower seals. the solonoid pack bolts to the valve body. just unbolt it and bolt in the new one, the new one may not come with the same color connector, will be white or grey, but no worries here. bolt it all back up, clear your codes and drive. the 4 is the limp mode.The transmission did not start out in 1st felt and remained stuck in what felt like 3rd or 4th.
