I know there was that glitch a while back that let you max out your frieghter inventory off of one cargo bulkhead, but there seems to be a new one that affects starship inventory. Everytime I install one for my freighter it increases my freighter and starship inventory by one.

The recent tech cap increase added a few more slots, but I still can't add further bulkheads to the tech inventory, but they can be easily added to cargo. That said, I've only tried with mouse, and there was a bug a few experimentals ago that made adding to exosuit tech difficult. I'll grab another bulkhead and experiment a little.

A capital freighter in an S-class can spawn with 24-34 general slots and 4-8 technology slots that are usable. On rare occasions, there can be 9 technology slots that are usable. As for warp range, I can only speak on my behalf. I have one of each type of engine installed in a maxed out s-class dreadnought and have a range of just over 3,000 LY.
