But with good pipes, tune and comp releases it will run great. 10:1 cr is moderate...190 psi ccc.

A 95 inch with a woods 6 with compression at 9.8-10.1 is a great running combo that will not require roller rockers , high dollar springs etc. Do not overlook other cams for great low end power. The andrews 26 or 21 will not wow you with hp numbers but the tq curve is very impressive and the cost for the cams are much less.
In my opinion and others, the 555 and the 777 underperform in the 103 configuration. I had Woods TW777, which worked well, but that being said, this configuration will be more stock as far as the engine is concerned. Meaning the pistons, heads, and whatnot will be stock. I ride over 20K a year.

More along the lines of 115HP and 125 lbs. of torque. 85 -90 HP 100-105 tq on a stock 103 with the 555. 100 hp 110 tq on a stock 103 that would be pretty hard to achieve. Cam suggestions for 103 HO twin cam Howdy, I recently picked up a 2016 low rider with a 103 HO. Stock internals ( to my knowledge) with Dan moto 2-1 pipes , S&S teardrop air cleaner and FP3 tuner. While it sure beats the hell out of my old 08 1200, I want to really open up the power on this bike. Most of my riding is city riding, bar hopping etc. If you want to up the compression on your motor, use the HD P/N 22179-99A cast pistons. That should put you at 10:25-1 compression with the factory 103" heads. Use the +.10 pistons so the machinist can hone your stock barrels to fit the new pistons. If you are going for "Bang for the buck," leave the heads alone for now.

The tw6 is a .510 lift, the 37 is a .510 lift and the 26 is a .490 lift so none of these needs roller rockers.
