Oanda wins for small accounts as they will let you place a trade of 1 unit. Most places pepperstone included you are trading min 1k units. So if starting with really small account then oanda will let you choose your timeframe and trade at a decent size and not force short term.

Oanda won’t allow you to trade US30. They don’t allow indices. On tradingview it's called "US30USD". If you live in the US you won't be able to trade it. I have both oanda and forex.com ( account was transferred when FXCM stopped operating in the u.s). Oanda has way better spreads and their MetaTrader servers have 4pm daily close. You can only use fxTrade, the trade software from Oanda, to trade. For MT4 accounts, you can only use MT4 to trade, not fxTrade. Actually you can use fxtrade to trade mt4 accounts. Or at least you can use the mobile app. You can actually "break" the rules of mt4 that way.
