Apr 6, 2024 · Statewide VHF. As of 2023, all PSP stations are using the PA-STARNet system for routine dispatch and are encrypted. Occasional traffic can still be heard on the old VHF tac channels. VHF gear was narrowbanded and is maintained as a back-up to PA-STARNet. PSP operations are migrating to this system. All PSP talkgroups appear to be encrypted.
