When it is finally time to Confront the Elder Brain, the Emperor can proceed as the player's ally during this final mixture of open-world and combat gameplay. The Emperor will be attached to one character like a summon for the duration of this experience.Winning a DC99 roll, don't bother. So there's a point in Act 3 where you face a DC99 roll. I was curious what would happen if you succeeded. Save your time. The answer is nothing; you get the exact same outcome as if you failed. The same applies for the rolls before the DC99 as well. I'm disappointed that it doesn't give you a unique ending.
