Neverafter There is possibly no real answer to this, but I've been rewatching Neverafter and when the party is at the Snow Queens castle speaking with the princesses they are very suspicious of them and end up leaving etc. But watching the episodes it really doesn't feel like the princesses were unable to be negotiated with?

A full TPK in a limited episode campaign won't work. They'd have to do an entirely new intro episode to go through all 6 new characters all over again before we could get back to the story, and then they're still down 3 episodes because they have to relearn all the info the TPK party already gained and decide what to do about it again.

I feel like it's too early to jump at any conclusion, Neverafter had all kinds of horrors spanning from body horror to psychological, eldritch, beast attacks, mythological... it felt like a thorough exploration of the genre.
