Moonveil scales primaries with int and decently with dex. But it's still roughly 70/30 magic/physical. You don't have to build around Moonveil at all which is why it's so particularly powerful for sorcery builds. Don't even have to push endurance because moonveil isn't heavy. Moonveil and wing of astel both fit perfectly into a sorcery build. Your build was pretty close to my first build just dex and int changed and less vigor. And I tried so many builds to finally beat Melania and with your build, I beat her first try thank you was stuck there for days. Rivers of blood worked very well against her for me personally. I am katana lover and I basically finished all souls games with katanas. Nagakiba has great damage, nice moveset and oh my god the reach on R2 wow. I enchanted mine with occult and Bloodhound Step and basically no other weapon was better. I even tried Eleonora's Poleblade and Rivers of Blood but still in the end switched to my Nagakiba.

If your build is int focused, you'll likely love this katana and it will decimate. I think its a mandatory weapon for Mages. I have it, used it for a little while, but I went back to strictly using my Carian Regal Staff. I'll probably be way more Moonveil'y in NG+. It’s actually trash bro better just sell it.
