I previously had my own modem connected to a Nighthawk Dual-Band WiFi 6 Mesh System (router with one satellite). I recently upgraded to the xFinity Gateway that has a built-in modem and router. I want to continue using my nighthawk mesh system.Xfinity gateway is set to bridge mode, you don't use the WiFi on that, and just use your expanded mesh network. I don't know if you can set a google mesh to do it the other way -- Turn the mesh/router into just a regular access point (disable WAN, disable it's DHCP server, set DHCP forwarding to your gateway).
