How do you peak and tune a cb radio.
If you can't do it your self I say just leave it alone. If you want louder modulation get a power mic and if you want more range then do like the other poster said and get an amp. If you get a peak and tune and they start clipping out parts then you can get one that is loud or one that is splattering all over the place, better odds in vegas.

I had it for 1 week and used it 6 times when it stopped transmitting and blew the fuse. Smoked and something inside rattling. I run a clean shack, everything grounded, no amplifier and all my antennas resonant for every band with an SWR of 1.2 to 1. Contacted this company and explained what took place.
The 'best peak and tune' is really nothing more than getting the radio aligned properly ('by the book'). Unless he has a O-scope, freq counter, a DVM, and a signal generator and knows how to use them; then you are just better off taking it to a shop that can do all of that for you for ~$35-$40 . . .
