I'm not a math whiz but that's about 50 degree differential from when we left Wednesday. We had noon flight from STT to SJU with 90 minute layover before leaving SJU for Boston arrival back in Boston around 5PM. 5 days ago · When coming with a group - newbies or experienced STJ visitors we usually have a few “meetings” (involves a few drinks!) where we discuss what we are bringing, dividing those items up, I put together a list of beaches, restaurants, happy hours so that once we are on island and discussing the next day’s activities we can refer to those for ideas.

Rents on places at the moment are about $1,200-$1,800 for a one bedroom. Electric is about $100 if you don't have A/C and are very frugal about it. If you have A/C, and run it at night, you can expect to pay closer to $200. In general, the long term rentals are no where as nice as the short term rentals.

When filtering villa rentals, it seems on St. John, needing 5 bedrooms puts you in Peter Bay, or at least by the time I started looking, it did. My go -to villa rental agency is www.wheretostay.com. They are wonderful and while I've used others over the years, they remain my favorite.

Just work your way down the list calling all STT rentals (the ones that will let you take their vehicles to St. John, anyway) and all STJ rentals.

I'd say Friis Bay or all the way out to Privateer Bay. Both beaches are rocky but beautiful. For sunsets, you could try Salomon or Hawksnest. I vote for Hawksnest. 6 years ago. There may be jet ski rentals at the Westin on St John. You should check with them. Sapphire Marina probably has best, but not sure who has that business now. It may still be Dive In!
