After a year and about 50 rounds to break in the rifle, this is a quick review of the rifle and what I think of it so far
H1000 (Thales/Australian Defense Industries AR2217) is a good powder, while my personal favorite in a TRG-42 is Retumbo (ADI AR2225). The Hodgdon site has this data for 300-grain Match Kings: 300 GR. A friend shoots a .338, albeit not an RPR, but he runs a 30 rail and his scope I believe has 140 of vertical total. He’s pushing a 250 Nolser Accubond at around 2900fps at muzzle and he needs right at an 81MOA correction for 1760yds, (a mile). With your 30MOA rail and the 120MOA your scope has you should still have 90MOA of vertical left ...

Pull off a piece of 0000 steel wool and soak it with your favorite cleaner. Spin it by hand or drill and it will clean it just fine.

I was also acquiring parts for a 33XC project, so in my case why bother with a 26" 338 Lapua? I've done three 338 lapua based wildcats in the last couple years, so load development from scratch for the 33XC wasn't that big a deal.
