Jeep jl battery voltage.
I checked battery voltage using a multimeter and it is at 12.37 volts. This was a couple of hours after driving. This is probably a little low. I am going to replace the 12 volt battery and hopefully that will resolve the ESS problem. My concern was it possibly being an issue with the 48V battery which is probably really expensive to replace.

Here's what I'd do. Leave everything as-is and park the Jeep after a long drive to insure the batteries are fully charged. Read the voltage of the battery. Then let it sit overnight. Your JL has it. When coasting and foot off the pedal, the generator charges the 48V battery. This applies to vehicles with eTorque. My jeep does not have eTorque. OK, then something isn't quite right. When my JL is cruising (with eTorque) my voltage shows 14.2 as should.
I have the Genesis dual system and like you have a larger parasitic draw on the batteries and the draw is coming from the Cole Hersee solenoid and it draws in the 700 ma range which is huge but it’s a electromagnet that needs power to stay closed, under normal running conditions this is a non issue and it’s only an issue when parked but realize once either battery gets down to 12.7 +/-.1 ...
