Jd 7000 population chart.
Just bought a 7000 planter and was wondering about the transmission sprockets. I have the operators manual, but I don"t have the driver driven sprocket #"s they have listed on the population chart. I would like to plant 26,700 seeds and the book calls for 22 driver and 18 driven but 14 and 15 are the biggest sprockets on my transmission.

I replaced the transmission sprockets with the ones for a 7200 I believe. Both sets, top and bottom, now run a #50 chain instead of 2050. Deere will give you a new chart for population. IIRC it cost around $200.
