It is a simple thing to use the safety lever instead of the LEM axle while installing the LEM kit and retain the safety. A few folks have opted to do that.Suppressor Recommendations for HK45. I'm 5'8", 175 lbs. with a 32" waist and have had no problem carrying an HK45C in a Sparks VM-2 all day, every day. It's probably as large and as heavy a gun as I would want to carry IWB but it's definitely not burdensome.The HK 45C functioned on the range, as did the two HK 45 pistols with variant nine triggers. The HK 45 with the LEM trigger failed to ignite the first round, and about one in five rounds thereafter. Since I happened to be in CO now, I made an appointment to drive two hours over to Colorado Springs this morning and get Bill to correct the problems.

As someone mentioned above (maybe you) that it's odd that the full size HK45 seemed to be designed off the P30, while the HK45C seemed to have been designed by their P2000 engineers.
