If your ping is high you'd need to reposition earlier for most TOP mechanics. Also if your ping fluctuates your actions will still get canceled in some cases with Clippy/Alex. Could try VPN to see if it's a routing issue but otherwise I think you're out of luck.
Spikes in cpu usage while playing ffxiv causes insane lag spikes. When playing ff14 and only ff14 sometimes my CPU usage jumps to 100% and the state repository service seems to be causing this.
