2012 VW TDI JSW DPF Delete Question. Hello I am new to this forum so I hope I am posting to the proper place. I have been driving 2012 VW TDI 6 speed manual for about 3 years now. The car has around 118000 miles on it. I am in New York State, and was wondering if there is some way to delete the DPF and still be able to pass the NYS inspection.DIY would save on the delete, and fixing what VW gave you. To me the delete looks more appealing either way. Rawtek's directions don't look to difficult. Steps 16, 19, & 20 might challenge a driveway mechanic. ECU tune is 500 or better. Plus the cost of the tuner. Another 220. It gets expensive pretty quick. You do get 950 back from the trans tuner.
