As in the title, I'm askin' what the largest Sarracenia species is. I'm inclined to guess that the largest is probably S. flava or S. leucophylla. Possibly S. minor. Oh, please note that for the sake of this question, only individual pitcher size is taken into account, not overall plant size.

For the rest of us, if you grow S. leucophylla, the take home message is to keep that soil moist, but don't let it sit in water for more than 2-3 days in a row. If you do decide to sit it in water permanently, make sure the water level is very low, maybe 1/4" or lower...that might allow sufficient oxygen to enter the soil.
