My fix was to power the DCM circuit from a circuit that was active when the ignition was ON. Probe around in the underhood fuse box and find one that's ON only when the key is ON. Using a couple add-a-circuit {Amazon Add-A-Circuit} the DCM is only powered when the key is ON. With this said there are other things that can cause battery drain.Also now that I removed the door panel completely and reinstalled it the driver's switch no longer operates the front passenger window or the rear driver's window. Only the wonky driver's front window and seemingly normal operation of the rear passenger's window. Dealership here I come!
