The pin is not coder, and sometimes works itself free, gear selector shift linkage gets stuck usually in reverse. Find the pin as well, you dont want that rolling around your tranny. There might be two pins, the roller and the pin that failed. Make it coder when you put it back, wont happen again.

Disconnect the shifter linkage/cable and shift the gears on the trans just to make sure its not something on your valve body thats stuck. If thats fine make sure your brake switch is working, if it somehow moved then it wont release the switch to release the lock.
