Kawasaki mule overheating.

Just bought a 3010 trans mule that was overheating, just my luck after just fixing a ranger doing same thing. This mule would over heat when only going slow after about 30 minutes. The fan would never come on. First I bleed the air out of radiator and got it hot and set on incline. Disconnect your battery, unplug the reg/rect. and connect your meter (set to ohms) red lead to any of the three wires that go to the stator, black lead to frame ground.
