The fact it's "killed", not encountered would imply that the chances are way lower, because many people tend to ignore megalodon spawns if it isn't shrouded ghost.

I've heard anywhere between 50 - 2000 players. This seems like a ridiculously small percentage of the player base. Got lucky about a week ago and managed to kill it though 😎. It is ridiculous how low he amount of shrouded ghost kills is. Pretty sure some people steal other people's screenshots of ghost kills and post them for free karma.
