I recently was looking for mics to mic a couple of guitar amps for living gigging, and came across these two amp specific mics on Amazon. They both get grea... 57. I’d go with a 57 then later get a e906 if you really want. It has sound between the 57 and e609 in my experience and opinion. The e609 is nice because you can hang it over the amp. The never ones have a brighter top and seem to have a bit of mid scoop. I use the E609 (black) on 4x12 cabs a lot. in general there is a 421 a 57 and the black E609. all close mic'd.
