Burston prime is my favourite and most used weapon by quite a significant margin. It's effectiveness does fall off a bit if you want sheer damage, but i mod mine for status. Some of us do like our burst rifles. I also like procs. So as much as i also like tiberon, burston still wins for me. I have the Burston Prime with 3*V (7/8 slots filled with max mods) and it's a great weapon (it doesnt compare with the holy trinity Synapse-Soma-Ogris) but imho, it's in top 7 or something to me... The real reason is that it's a lot easier to get large amounts of damage than it is multishot, or crit damage. The downside is meaningless for the burston incarnon, since incarnon forms don't get affected by ammo stats. Combined with multishot, which is superior in every way to flat damage, it's an amazing roll.

Soma with crit build is the superior of those three, although Burston isn't bad at all either really. Boar Prime/Braton Prime are the two Prime primaries that are weaker than Burston Prime. Boar Prime might have high spike DPS, but it's not very ammo-efficient and has damage dropoff.
